The solution to a variety of database problems is hiding in SQL Server's
transaction log. We say "hiding" because the transaction log is an undocumented
binary file. Log Explorer is the first and only product able to use the log
information to selectively recover data, analyse user and application problems,
and audit activity; all without run-time overhead.
Since learning about Log Explorer SSW has enjoyed a pain-free method for data
recovery and analysis. Though we still have a great backup system in
place, knowing that we'll never have to lose data by going to our last back up
is very comforting. Amongst SSW DBAs it quickly became our favourite SQL Server
utility as its ability to investigate transactions and roll back database
changes continues to saved us time and money. But don't take our word for it!
SSW invites you to try Log Explorer on your own SQL Servers and see for
yourself how easy it is to roll back changes and recover dropped or truncated
tables using your transaction logs.
